“Devotion Potion: A Ritual for Sweet Surrender & Bold Heartfelt Love”
A ritual to call in—or hold onto—a love that’s deep, nostalgic, emotionally rich, and soul-stirring… even if it hurts a little.
Playlist Vibe Breakdown:
Whitney Houston – “I’m Your Baby Tonight”: Confident surrender, “ride or die” vibes
En Vogue – “Don’t Let Go (Love)”: Raw passion, longing, emotional boldness
Chaka Khan – “Sweet Thing”: Classic devotion, deep desire, sensual vulnerability
Tevin Campbell – “Can We Talk”: Innocent yearning, honesty, heart on the sleeve
Purpose:
To tap into that soft yet powerful energy. The “I love you in full color” vibe. Whether you’re calling someone in, keeping the flame alive, or just honoring your capacity to love this deeply—this ritual channels tender strength.
What You’ll Need:
Pink candle (unconditional love & heart healing)
Red rose petals or dried hibiscus (for passion)
A gold object (ring, necklace, coin – for value & intention)
Pen & paper
A glass of wine, juice, or sensual tea (hibiscus, rose, or cinnamon recommended)
A mirror
The Ritual: “Sweet Thing, Can You Feel Me?”
1. Playlist On. Candle Lit. Lights Low.
Start playing the playlist. Light your pink candle and scatter the petals around it. Hold your gold object to your heart.
Say:
“I’m love in the flesh. I’m desire in truth.
I don’t chase. I call in. I magnetize what’s meant.”
2. Write the Wish or the Memory
If you’re calling love in: write your desires in a letter. Be bold, be poetic, be real.
If you’re holding onto someone: write what makes you stay and what you wish they’d see.
If it’s for self-love: write a vow to never water down your emotions again.
End your note with:
“I’m the sweet thing they’ll never forget.”
3. Scent & Sip
Put on your favorite scent. Take a slow sip of your drink. As you sip, imagine love flooding back to you—your own love, divine love, or theirs.
4. Mirror Moment
Gaze at yourself while Tevin or Whitney sings. Softly say:
“I am enough to be chosen, adored, and remembered.
Love, if you hear me—show up or shut up.”
5. Close It With Intention
Fold the note and wrap it around the gold object. Keep it on your altar, nightstand, or in your purse for 7 days.
When the 7 days are done, either burn the note and release it—or bury it under a rose bush, a tree, or by your bed.
Optional Chant (Repeat as the candle burns):
“Don’t let go, don’t dim my flame,
If you come, come right, don’t play no games.
I’m the sweet thing your soul remembers,
The one you’ll crave through all Decembers.”
